Definitions
- Client: The natural person who books a treatment or makes use of the services of the massage practice.
- Massage practice: The service provider who performs the massages.
- Treatment: Any massage offered by the massage practice.
Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to all appointments, treatments and transactions between the massage practice and the client.
Appointments & Reservations
- Appointments are made by phone, e-mail, the online booking system or in the practice.
- The client receives a confirmation of the appointment. Without confirmation the appointment is not final.
Cancellation & No-show
- Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the appointment.
- For cancellations within 24 hours, 100% of the fee will be charged.
- In case of a no-show without notice, the full cost will be charged.
- If you arrive late, the treatment time may be shortened; the full fee still applies.
Rates & Payment
- Rates are visible on the website, the price list, or are communicated by message.
- Payment is made directly when booking the treatment or after the treatment, in cash or by bank transfer.
- Any claims with insurers are the responsibility of the client.
Health & Contraindications
- The client is obliged to provide correct and complete medical information.
- The massage practice reserves the right to refuse a treatment if there are medical risks (fever, contagious conditions, serious skin problems, etc.) or if the treatment is not considered safe or responsible.
- Massages are not a substitute for medical care. In case of doubt, you will be referred to a doctor.
Hygiene
- Both the therapist and the client must maintain good personal hygiene.
- The massage practice ensures a clean, safe and hygienic environment.
- The client should wash or shower beforehand if this is deemed necessary.
Liability
The massage practice is not liable for damage caused by:
- incomplete or incorrect information from the client;
- events beyond the control of the practice;
- loss of or damage to personal belongings.
- The client remains responsible for his/her own health.
Personal Data & Privacy
- Personal data is treated confidentially in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.
- Data is only used for administrative purposes.
Code of Conduct
- Unwanted or sexually suggestive behaviour will not be tolerated.
- In case of violation, the treatment is terminated immediately and costs are charged in full.
- In case of a serious violation, a report may be filed with the authorities.
Gift Vouchers
- Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
Complaints
- Complaints must be reported to the massage practice within a reasonable period.
- The practice will strive for an appropriate solution.
Changes to the Terms
- The massage practice has the right to amend these terms and conditions.
- The most recent version always applies.
